Packing List
A good trip starts with smart packing. Use this as a starting point and adapt it to the season and destination of your adventure. When in doubt, pack light — laundry service for cycling kit is available on most of our trips.
On the bike
- Helmet (required) and cycling sunglasses
- 2–3 cycling jerseys and bib shorts
- Padded gloves, arm and knee warmers
- Lightweight rain jacket / wind vest
- Cycling shoes and 2–3 pairs of cycling socks
- Pedals and saddle if you prefer your own (rentals are fitted with standard pedals)
- Chamois cream and any personal nutrition you like
If you're bringing your own bike
- Bike in a travel case or bag (check airline rules)
- Basic tools, spare tubes, tubeless plugs, and a quick-link
- Spare derailleur hanger for your frame
- A spare tire and brake pads for longer trips
Renting one of our bikes? You can skip most of this — just bring your shoes, pedals (optional), helmet, and personal touch points.
Off the bike
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Casual clothes for dinners and town strolls
- Swimwear (many of our hotels have a pool or are near the sea)
- A warm layer for cool evenings
- Adapter plug for European outlets (Type C / F) and a power bank
Documents & essentials
- Passport (valid 6+ months beyond travel) and any required visas
- Travel and medical insurance details
- Personal medications and a small first-aid kit
- Sunscreen, lip balm, and after-sun
- A copy of your trip itinerary and emergency contacts
The extras that help
- Refillable water bottles
- A phone mount or computer for navigation
- Earplugs and an eye mask for travel days
- A small daypack for rest-day excursions
